BEST PROTEIN POWDER I HAVE EVER USED.
Posted by DR. RICK LENGYEL, L.Ac. on Feb 10th 2016
I STARTED USING PROTEIN POWDERS IN THE MID 1960's AT THE FIRST GNC STORE IN PITTSBURGH, PA. I STARTED WITH BOB HOFFMAN'S SOY PROTEIN. IT COST $2.50/LB ABOUT 50 YEARS AGO. SINCE THAT TIME I HAVE TRIED MANY BRANDS OF WHEY AND SOY. WHEN I DISCOVERED EVERLAST VP VEGAN PROTEIN I WAS VERY IMPRESSED BY TASTE, FLAVOR, AND RESULTS. I LOOK FORWARD TO WHEN YOU MAKE CHOCOLATE FLAVOR VP, BUT I LOVE THE VANILLA TASTE AS WELL. I MAKE SMOOTHIES USING ALMOND MILK, BANANAS, FRUIT AND YOGURT. WOW!! GREAT PRODUCT AND HAPPY TO BE AN EVERLAST NUTRITION PARTNER AND A USA BOXING COACH AT AGE 65 YEARS OLD. I LOOK FOR MORE NEW PRODUCTS IN THE FUTURE.

I have tried many protein mixes over the last few years....recently I wanted to get away from the processed ones and find a vegan mix. I tried a few that left me with a bad taste ....literally. then I got a free trial size of the Everlast Vegan Mix, couldn't believe it was all natural! it mixes very good and has a great taste!! i'll stick with it from now on!
Best Tasting Vegan Protein with no Bloat!
Posted by CarrieAGroff on Sep 29th 2015
I love how delicious and smooth tasting this vegan protein is! It's not gritty and doesn't leave me feeling bloated. I use this in my smoothies, hemp protein bars and protein snack balls too!

very happy with this product it is nice to have a post workout protein shake powder that doesn't taste yucky! also nice to be able to read all the ingredients and....know what each are!!
unlike other powders, I didn't experience bloating or an aftertaste the only drawback...only one flavor BUT it has a good taste to it. easy to mix and easy to add other fruits/etc to change up the flavor if I desire.

I've used whey protein powders for years. Recently, I gave this product a try.
First off, you have to love the numbers on the front of the package—22 grams of protein, no sugar, no gluten, and no dairy. Most whey protein powders are 21-24 grams per serving so this is comparable. You get all the essential amino acids from the blend of yellow pea, hemp, and rice proteins. Each serving has 4.5 grams of BCAA’s (whey proteins contain 5.5 grams). Pea protein contains more glutamine than whey so there is plenty of that amino acid, too. Everlast Nutrition Vegan Protein has less calories, carbohydrates, and fat than popular whey powders. Also, Vegan Protein contains no cholesterol, hormones, or GMO’s.
The powder mixes well in a shaker cup. I’ve tried some Isolates that I could mix with a spoon. That is not an option here. The only flavor option is vanilla. I found the taste to be pleasant and rich. The consistency was thicker than what I’ve experienced with whey protein powders. It would be perfect for mixing up a shake with berries or something but I drink my protein straight.
Price is comparable to what you would find for popular whey protein powders at GNC (especially if you look at price per serving).
This is a good option for anyone who is cutting fat and trying to add lean muscle due to the low amount of fat and carbohydrates and the lack of sugar and cholesterol. I'll continue to use it as I pursue a more ripped physique.

so far I really like this protein!! I've been using whey after whey protein that only resulted in bloat (although I really like the taste of whey) this is the first vegan protein I've used and I love that there is no bloat! it mixes well. the only thing I am not 100% sold on is that its a bit too salty however other then that I love the product. and at 39.99 its the same price as the quest whey protein I was getting. for the 39.99 price I think its a great buy
Good so Far!

It seemed to me that the vegetarian protein was a total waste of money because how could it possibly be as good as protein from animal sources. Looks like Everlast’s vegan mixture comes mighty close with the blend they came up with. I like it a lot, going to stay with it and see how VP compares with other supplements I have used. Decent results to this point.
Better than Expected

I tried the sample of VP protein and it is much better than I was expecting. I am not a vegetarian and like meat, but the animal protein supplements make me feel a little queasy after I finish. I tried Sunwarrior and Vega protein mixes and they didn’t make me queasy but were just awful, could hardly stand to drink it. But the Everlast VP has a pretty good vanilla flavor.
Giving it 4 stars for now but if it keeps up like this, it is a 5 star winner for sure.

I like boxing and mma, I have always used Everlast gear and some of there nutrition products too, when I saw Everlast came out with protein powder I was all for it. Then I look closer and see it's vegan and I'm thinking, oh no why did they do that. Because all the veggy stuff I've tried has been awful and thought this would be to. I can't tell a difference with this stuff and other protein supp's, I am seeing muscle growth and feeling great after workouts. Good job Everlast, this stuff is awesome.
